Crushing equipment is extensively used in mining, metallurgy, construction, railway, chemical and hydraulic industry. There are coarse, medium and fine crushing methods aimed at different materials. The most commonly seen crushers are jaw crusher, rotary crusher, cone crusher and roll crusher.
1, Jaw crusher
The two jaw plates exert extrusion and bending force to materials. Due to its simple structure and reliable operation, jaw crusher is widely used in ore dressing process, building materials, silicate and ceramics production. Compared with cone crusher, it is lower in investment. Compared with hammer crusher, its wear parts have a longer service life.
2, Rotary crusher
The cone of rotary crusher moves in a cyclone motion and exerts extrusion, splitting and bending force to material. It is mainly used for coarse crushing rocks with all degrees of hardness. Generally, its efficiency is higher than jaw crusher.
3, Cone crusher
The working principle of cone crusher is similar to that of rotary crusher. Whereas, cone crusher is mainly used for medium and fine crushing of materials. The discharge port of cone crusher is quite small, so accident is likely to happen when uncrushable foreign materials enter the cavity. Therefore, safety and adjustment device is quite important.
4, Roll crusher
By friction between roller surfaces, material is crushed with extrusion or splitting force. According to the number of rollers, roll crusher can be divided into single roller crusher, double roller crusher and multi-roller crusher. It is mainly used for coarse, medium and fine crushing of coal, limestone, cement clinker, and feldspar with mid-hardness.
