The Working Principle of Belt Conveyor System:

Belt conveyor systems are generally fairly similar in construction consisting of a metal frame with rollers at either end of a flat metal bed. The belt is looped around each of the rollers and when one of the rollers is powered (by an electrical motor) the belting slides across the solid metal frame bed, moving the product.

The belt conveyor moves according to the friction drive principle and its conveying amount is big, conveying distance is long and conveyance is stable, and there is no relative movement between the materials and the belt. With the advantages of low noise, simple structure, convenient maintenance and standard spared parts, it is widely used in the conveyance of bulk materials or piece articles and the production line in mine, metallurgy, chemistry, casting and building material industry and the production departments such as hydropower station construction site and port.

The belt conveyor is mainly composed of rack, conveying belt, belt roller, tension device and driving device. The rack is connected with excellent steel plate, and there are belt roller and carrier roller for driving and supporting the conveying belt, and there are two driving methods: reduction motor drive and motorized pulley drive.
